| Like the MYOSCOPE systems the MYOSTATION - INTACT can be mounted on an inverse microscope (for instance for measuring the intracellular Calcium We offer a variety of different force transducers allowing to measure the force of all intact muscle preparations The system is designed to measure muscle preparations up to a length of 25mm The cuvette is perfused with oxygenated incubation solution The temperature of the system is controlled between 30°C and 42°C For easy preparation mounting both the force transducer and the micrometer (or the motor) are elevated simultaneously The system can be equipped with the Galvanometer Motor. Field electrodes for muscle stimulation are integrated into the system The software MYODAT acquires and evaluates the data. It also controls the motor displacement during after-loaded contractions, heart beat simulations (based on the pressure – volume diagram of the heart), isotonic releases, eccentric contractions etc. |
